About Our Company 

Beginning as A.J. Metler Hauling & Rigging...

The Metler family began with a crane and trucking company. With much success, the company eventually became solely focused on trucking. 

As the trucking company grew and had much success, the Metler family chose to make the company itself and the equipment separate. Eventually the trucking side was sold, and the equipment remained in the Metler family. 

Today, the fourth generation of the Metler family is learning about the business and the family legacy, to eventually grow the equipment side (now known as Ametco, Inc.) to carry on the Metler name in the world of trucking. Working together, the third and fourth generations are growing Ametco, Inc., pursuing success and aspiring to make an impact in the trucking industry once again.
